Loyalty Program Rules

Northfinder.com — Official terms of participation, benefit accrual and redemption

 

01 Introduction

These rules govern the conditions of the Flowline loyalty program operated by Northfinder a. s. on the website northfinder.com (hereinafter "the program"). The program is intended for registered customers and allows them to earn benefits when shopping at the Northfinder e-shop.

By participating in the program — through registration, making a purchase, or any other form of enrollment — the customer confirms that they have read and agree to these rules.

Program benefits are allocated by an automated system based on applicable rules. Northfinder a. s. reserves the right to decide on the application of benefits in accordance with the current program conditions.

Important notice: Customers do not select or configure how benefits are applied. Benefits are assigned automatically based on account status, purchase history, and applicable rules. Manual intervention in the benefit allocation logic is not possible.

 

02 Program Enrollment

Customers are enrolled in the program automatically — by registering an account on northfinder.com or making their first purchase. Enrollment does not require a separate application or payment.

The program includes multiple membership tiers. Placement in a specific tier depends on customer activity, particularly the total purchase volume within a defined period. The conditions for moving between tiers are set internally and may change.

  • Advancement to a higher tier occurs automatically upon meeting the conditions; customers are not required to request an upgrade.
  • Membership tier is reviewed periodically. Failure to meet the conditions may result in placement in a lower tier.
  • Benefits associated with a specific tier are not legally enforceable and may be changed or withdrawn.
  • Northfinder a. s. is not obliged to notify customers in advance of a change in their tier, except as required by law.

03 Loyalty Points

Customers enrolled in the program may earn loyalty points on purchases, which can be redeemed as a discount on a future order.

  • Point value: 1 point equals €1 in value upon redemption.
  • Maximum redemption: Points may be redeemed up to a maximum of 25% of the total order value. This limit is fixed and cannot be exceeded.
  • Delayed crediting: Points for a purchase are credited to the customer with a time delay after order confirmation. This delay is defined by the program's operational rules.
  • Point validity: Points have a limited validity period. After the defined period from the last purchase, the point balance expires. The current validity period is shown in the customer account.
  • Basis for calculation: Points are calculated exclusively on the amount actually paid — not on the original product price or the value before discounts are applied.
  • Returns: Upon return of goods or cancellation of an order, related points are cancelled, including points not yet activated.
  • High-discount exceptions: For orders where the total discount exceeds a defined threshold, points for the purchase may not be awarded. The exact threshold is defined by internal system rules.

Notice: Points have no monetary value outside the program system. They cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.

 

04 Discounts and Benefits

Within the program and the Northfinder e-shop, customers may receive various types of discounts. Each type has different conditions, validity, and scope of use.

A — Loyalty Points

The customer redeems accumulated points as a discount at checkout. Governed by the rules defined in Section 3.

B — Member Pricing

Higher-tier customers may have access to special prices on selected products after logging in. Validity is tied to membership in the respective tier.

C — Marketing Coupons

One-time coupons issued in connection with the program or marketing activities. Conditions are stated at the time the coupon is issued.

D — Campaign Discounts

Time-limited promotional prices valid during a defined period. Applied automatically to designated products.

E — Volume / Bundle Discounts

Automatically applied benefits when purchasing a defined quantity of products or complete sets.

F — Compensation Coupons

Issued individually by customer support in justified cases. Subject to internal approval processes.

The availability of a specific type of benefit depends on the customer's tier, current account status, and other conditions established for each discount type.

 

05 Combining Discounts

Basic rule: It is not possible to apply all types of discounts simultaneously on a single order. The system automatically determines which combinations are permissible and applies them in accordance with the applicable rules.

  • It is not possible to use multiple coupons on a single order. The system accepts a maximum of one discount code.
  • Using one discount may automatically exclude the possibility of applying another discount within the same order.
  • Certain discount types are mutually exclusive and cannot be applied simultaneously.
  • Some combinations are conditional — their availability depends on the specific products in the order or other factors.
  • Customers cannot manually change or circumvent the discount combination rules. The system always applies the combination in accordance with current rules.
  • Northfinder a. s. does not guarantee the availability of a specific discount combination and reserves the right to change combination rules at any time.

For customers: If adding a coupon or redeeming points automatically excludes another benefit, this is standard system behaviour, not a technical error.

 

06 Use of Coupons

Coupons issued under the program are subject to the following conditions:

  • Account binding: Coupons are generally tied to a specific customer account or email address. They are not transferable to another person or account.
  • Validity: Each coupon has a limited validity period, stated on the coupon or in the message through which it was delivered. After expiry, the coupon becomes void with no replacement.
  • Minimum purchase: Coupons may be subject to a minimum order value requirement, stated on each specific coupon.
  • Single use: Coupons are generally single-use — once redeemed, they expire and cannot be used again.
  • No cash value: Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, sold, or otherwise alienated. Unused value expires upon expiry of the coupon.
  • Product restrictions: Some coupons may be limited to specific product categories or full-price products. This restriction is always stated on the specific coupon.

Misuse notice: Copying, distributing, or systematically obtaining coupons contrary to their intended purpose is considered a violation of the program terms and may result in account restriction or termination.

 

07 Restrictions and System Protection

Northfinder a. s. reserves the following rights in the management of the program:

  • Refusal to apply a discount: The system may refuse to apply a discount if the conditions are not met — e.g. failure to meet the minimum purchase, expiry, product incompatibility, or violation of combination rules.
  • Account restriction or suspension: In case of suspected misuse of the program, manipulation of the system, or action contrary to these rules, a customer account may be temporarily restricted or permanently terminated, including loss of accumulated points and benefits.
  • Modification of program conditions: The company reserves the right to change the program conditions, benefits associated with individual tiers, rules for earning and redeeming points, and the availability of any discounts at any time.
  • Program termination: The company reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend the Flowline program at any time. In such a case, customers will be notified with reasonable advance notice through available communication channels.
  • Technical errors: A technical error on the part of the system, payment gateway, or any third party does not entitle the customer to a discount, compensation, or the application of a benefit not otherwise due.
  • Duplicate accounts: Creating multiple accounts in order to obtain program benefits repeatedly is not permitted. Upon detection of such conduct, all affected accounts may be terminated.

 

08 Final Provisions

These rules may be updated on an ongoing basis. Changes take effect on the date of their publication on northfinder.com, unless otherwise specified in a particular amendment.

  • The current version of the rules published on northfinder.com shall always be decisive.
  • By continuing to participate in the program after changes are published, the customer confirms their agreement with the updated rules.
  • In cases not expressly covered by these rules, the general terms and conditions of Northfinder a. s. apply.
  • The Flowline program is available exclusively to customers purchasing on northfinder.com and applies to purchases made through the company's e-shop.
