The jacket is made from 3-layer softshell material with a 5,000 mm water column and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h, which means reliable protection in light rain and wind without suffocating you. High elasticity thanks to the 4-way stretch construction allows for long strides, ascents, and rappelling down slopes without uncomfortable pulling. The surface is PFC free with a water-repellent finish, so droplets simply roll off and the jacket dries faster.
The ACTIVE LIGHT softshell type means the jacket is built for movement, hiking, light trekking, backpacking trips. Ventilation under the arms allows excess heat to escape quickly when needed. The fixed 4D hood follows head movements, and the adjustable bottom hem and cuffs with Velcro keep the warmth in when the wind hits the ridge.
Wind, variable weather, and a long route often mean: first sweaty, then chilled. CLIFTON mitigates this cycle – the jacket doesn't get blown away, but it also doesn't overheat you while walking.
