The outer fabric has PFC free durable water repellent treatment, but to withstand the heavy snow it must be combined with hardshell. The build-in hood keeps you warm and is easy to adjust. The adjustable hem blocks the wind coming from below and keeps the jacket in place. Small items can be stored in zippered pockets in front located inside the insulation and in the chest pocket. As a lightweight, multipurpose insulating outer-layer, this jacket can be worn while backpacking in cold temps or hiking in the winter. An excellent choice for outdoors and city.
