Description and Parameters
The jacket is ideal for skiing in all mountain conditions. Thanks to its hybrid construction, it effectively regulates body temperature and ensures maximum mobility. You can use this jacket for active skiing, cross-country skiing, but also for high-performance winter hiking. The shoulders and the exposed part of the back are protected by a windproof and waterproof membrane (10,000 mm /10,000 g/ m2/ 24 h). The front, the upper back, and the forearms are covered with an ultra-light, dense material with ripstop structure, Pertex® Quantum. It protects against wind and moisture, thus guaranteeing a high degree of waterproofing. Both the Pertex® Quantum membrane and Polartec® Alpha® Direct are of the highest quality. As one of the best synthetic insulations on the market, it optimizes warmth, resists moisture, and works even on damp days. The material is found on the chest, sleeves, and upper back. This insulation does not require any lining, which makes it lightweight. The unique elasticity and breathability come from the Blizzard® Thermal comfort material, located on the back and forearms. This material has a special density that can maintain internal temperature even when stretched. The risk of hypothermia is therefore lower than with regular stretch fabrics. Thanks to GRID technology, it quickly removes sweat from the body. The same material is used for the anatomical hood with an elastic hem, which functions as natural ventilation under a helmet. The waist is adjustable with a drawstring.
