This jacket has been designed as a protective layer for year-round use in rain, humidity, and wind. It is ideal for hiking, ski touring, running, or cycling. Thanks to its lightweight design, it takes up minimal space in a backpack and is always ready in case the weather changes. The jacket is made from high-quality Pertex Shield 20K/20K material with a DWR treatment. Pertex® Shield is a waterproof and breathable fabric based on a microporous membrane. It prevents water from penetrating while allowing excess moisture to escape from the body, keeping you dry and comfortable. The material is also lightweight and durable, making it ideal for activities where weight and packability are crucial. All seams are taped, and the YKK® zippers are waterproof, ensuring reliable water resistance. To prevent cold air from entering, the jacket has a slightly extended fit, providing additional thermal comfort and protection. The 3D-adjustable hood is designed to fit over a climbing or ski helmet and features a visor that prevents rain from getting into your face. The sleeve cuffs are adjustable with zippers, and the hem can be adjusted with an elastic drawcord.
The jacket has two large zippered side pockets, positioned higher so they remain accessible even when wearing a backpack with a hip belt. Side zipper openings without mesh ensure optimal ventilation. The upper part of the main zipper at the neck can be closed with snap buttons, allowing for ventilation without fully unzipping the jacket.
Additionally, the jacket features reflective elements to improve visibility in low-light conditions.
