With the best balance of weather resistance, breathability and mobility we engineered this technical jacket aimed at tour or cross-country skiers. Based on body-mapping we decided to use several premium materials and place them in defferent areas of the body. DRIENOV protects you unfailing against elements, offers one of the best body-heat regulation on the market and ensures perfect range of movement while going uphill. A stretch and articulated construction with integrated hood, gusseted underarms and raglan sleeves enhances mobility you need for fast downhill, climbing, or cross-country skiing.
Whereas the adjustable hood with peak is full helmet-compatible too. Polartec® Alpha® direct provides active insulation, is hydrophobic, resists all moisture and dries incredibly fast. And it seriously works even when wet. Therefor is Alpha® Direct located in front, on entire hood, on sleeves and partially on the back. Moreover the revolutionary Alpha® direct can be in direct contact with skin or other fabric layers without any lining, what eliminates the weight. For extra fresh air supply we cut exactely16 openings with laser under each arm. The top area is made of flexible and lightweight Windprotect Shield 2,5-layer membrane that provides lightweight waterproof protection while guaranteeing highly breathablility. For the rest we used a 4-way stretch 3-layer membrane that boast unbelivable air-permeability and wind and water protection.
The front 2-way YYK® zipper ends wits chin guard and guarantees maximum durability. It comes with two large zippered and mesh lined pockets for skins, goggles or gloves. DRIENOV with its weight 420g (M) and high functionality offers remarkable companion on strenuous ski touring ascents in the freezing cold.
