Description and Parameters
The jacket is ideal for ski climbing in all mountain conditions. We've refined the successful, performance-oriented jacket to perfection. Thanks to the hybrid construction, it effectively regulates the internal climate and ensures maximum mobility. You can use this jacket for active uphill skiing on skis, cross-country skiing, but also for performance winter hiking. The shoulders and the exposed part of the back are protected by a windproof and waterproof membrane (10,000 mm /10,000 g/ m2/ 24 h). The front panel, upper back and forearms are covered in ultra-lightweight, densely woven Pertex® Quantum ripstop fabric. It protects against wind and moisture and guarantees high vapor permeability. Both the membrane and Pertex® Quantum overlay top-quality Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation. As one of the best synthetic insulations on the market, it optimizes heat, resists moisture and works even when wet. You can find it on the chest, on the sleeves and on the upper part of the back. This insulation does not need any lining, which you will feel mainly in the weight. Unique elasticity and breathability comes with Blizzard® Thermal comfort fabric, located on the back and forearms. This material has a special density of weaving, which can maintain the internal temperature even when the fabric is stretched. The risk of hypothermia is therefore lower than with ordinary elastic fabrics. The panels in the armpit are made of fabric inspired by GRID technology, whose task is to quickly wick sweat away from the body. We also used the same material for the anatomical hood with an elastic hem, which functions as natural ventilation under the helmet. On the top of the zipper you will find a chin guard and the zippers are finished with reflective pullers with coated material for a better grip even with gloves.
