The light ski mountaineering backpack FERRET 18L is intended for lovers of fast ski mountaineering or those who do not need to pack a lot for a winter hike on skis or cross-country skis. With a volume of 18 liters, this backpack is ideal for fast impact hikes, fast hikes and downhills. However, it also hides clever functional gadgets, useful for movement in the winter mountains. It is an improved version of our previous Skylite ski backpack. Ferret has a back system made of EVA foam, which does not catch snow. The backpack has a comfortable waist belt, on the right side with a pocket, on the left side with a loop for hanging material. The chest strap is adjustable and you will also find a whistle here in case of emergency. In the main zippered compartment you will find handles for organizing and storing avalanche equipment - a probe and an avalanche shovel, as well as a folder for storing and attaching a hydro bag with an outlet on the left shoulder strap. You can attach your skis diagonally to your backpack without any problems. You put the connected skis in the left larger loop in the lower part of the backpack and catch them from above with the strap, which is hidden in the right shoulder strap. Thanks to the release buckle, you can easily adjust the position of the skis on your back. You can also easily fix an ice ax or hiking poles to your backpack via the upper fixing elastic band and the lower strap. You can hide both lower tabs if you like a minimalist look. The backpack also includes an integrated net for a ski mountaineering helmet, fixed in a zip pocket in the lower part of the backpack. The front zipper pocket for small items also has a zipper clip. Two side mesh pockets, one with top access, the other with side access. For the backpack, we used high-quality YKK zippers and Duraflex buckles, which guarantee increased durability even under heavy loads. We developed the FERRET backpack to be light and at the same time reliable for every hard hike when you need to save every gram.
